Kids love it!
The kids and I could sit and watch the fish in the pond for hours. The inside of the building is fun and informative. Overall its a worthwhile place to visit during the fair. It almost makes me forget how much disdain I have for the actual agency that mismanages our resources so egregiously.
The DNR has quite a number of exhibits packed onto it's grounds at the MN state fair. Even though it's there every year, it still manages to eat up a good hour of my time that could be spent eating deep-fried things on sticks.
